Deir Seryan (The Monastery of the Syrian), a village in south Lebanon has reportedly been obliterated by the Israeli military as part of its campaign to ethnically cleanse the area. This village was a civilisation that was hundreds, maybe thousands of years old. The terraces, olive trees, wells, stone houses and holy places, have all been destroyed.
